About the Deep South Turf Expo
From the Ground Up – A Decade of Growing Together
For years, there was a strong desire in the southern turfgrass community for a dedicated regional conference—a place to connect with old industry friends, network with peers, and discover the latest in turf management. Industry suppliers asked for it, turfgrass managers supported it, and several turf-related organizations came together to make it a reality. In October 2015, that vision came to life and the inaugural Deep South Turf Expo was held in Biloxi, MS. What began as a hopeful idea has grown into a cornerstone event for the southern turfgrass industry—and now, in 2026, we proudly celebrate 11 years of success, learning, and camaraderie where true southern hospitality comes to life at The Beau Rivage Resort.
